Petroplan are assisting a major client of ours in their search for a Corrosion Engineer to work a contract assignment. To perform specific technical activities to support Corrosion Engineering community and delivery of the Regional inspection, Corrosion and Integrity Management programs. Whilst also having experience working with corrosion management on FPSOs

Ideal candidate:

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering, Sciences (e.g., Physics) or equivalent
• Knowledge of corrosion mitigation and mechanical integrity assessment techniques. Work experience with relevant inspection codes and standards, such as API 510, 570, 653, 579, 580, ASME VIII, B31
• Experience managing offshore & onshore third party contractor teams
• Experience with standard (UT/Radiography/VT) and Advanced (PAUT/Eddy Current/Tomography/TOFD etc) inspection techniques
• Operator experience

Location: South of England or Aberdeen

Rate: Dependent on experience
