Overview:

The Role and Team

We are looking for an experienced driver to join our Care Homes business. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, Care Homes the role will be responsible for driving and managing our 'apetiser' mobile tasting unit. As a food company a huge part of the success of our sales team is the ability to showcase our exceptional food for potential and existing customers. Over the last few months we have invested and developed our new 'apetiser' mobile tasting unit to provide an immersive apetito experience out on the road.

Following a thorough and detailed review of the significant market opportunity available, a commitment has been made to double the growth of the Care Homes business at apetito. In order to deliver against this ambitious commitment a new division has been established to allow focus on achieving this growth. This role will be a key part of delivering on this ambition.

Working closely with the Care Homes Marketing and Sales teams this role is tasked with the day-to-day support, management and driving of the 'apetiser'. You will be the face of apetito out on the road, working in collaboration with the sales team, to drive the growth of our business by providing a first-class tasting experience for potential customers whilst also supporting the retention of existing customers through supporting at engagement days.

This hands-on role will include the driving of the vehicle (3T). Responsibilities include driving the vehicle, overnight hotel accommodation & food allowance provided, setup of the vehicle onsite, cooking and serving of the food on the vehicle, the management of the diary including route planning and logistics plus the maintenance and development of the vehicle to ensure it is fit for the future.

Responsibilities:

The Events Assistant, Care Homes will be responsible for:

Driving the vehicle to all 'apetiser' events
Vehicle setup, cooking and serving of food at all 'apetiser' events
Cleaning and maintenance of the vehicle, inside and out, to ensure it is representative of apetito at all times
Stock management of all items and disposables required for 'apetiser' events
Management of the technology onboard the 'apetiser' including the setup and customisation for all events
Development of the mobile tasting experience to ensure it is constantly evolving
Qualifications:

Essential:

Experience within a driving role
Full UK Manual Driving Licence
Computer literate
Evidence of work stability
Experience within a customer service-based role

Desirable:

Events experience
Experience within a care-based role
Health & Safety awareness
