An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of a wonderful team working within Children's Services. In this Administration position you will need to be able to write high quality, detailed minutes. You will need to be very organised as you will gather and collate a large number of documents by set deadlines; circulate a high volume of data securely; juggle differing deadlines and monitor different stages of the various processes to ensure the relevant paperwork is sent out at the right time. You need to be able to work independently and use your own initiative.

As the Adoption Panel Co-Ordinator you will have to undertake a variety of task, these will include, but not be limited to:

  • Co-ordination of the monthly Adoption Panel.
  • Follow the Pre-Panel process which will include setting the agenda and emailing invites to attendees.
  • Ensure quoracy for the Adoption Panel by inviting Social Workers and Prospective Adopters.
  • Gather relevant information.
  • Setting and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Minute taking to a very detailed standard for the Adoption Panel.
  • Able to keep to strict deadlines for tasks and minutes.
  • Able to organise and minute urgent meetings on short notice to a high standard.
  • Use the Social Services Database to upload any relevant documents or minutes.
  • Monitor any new enquiries to the service and send out information packs when necessary.
  • Able to use a finance database to raise and process invoices.
  • Provide data for key dates and information for quarterly returns and performance indicators.
  • Ability to write high quality, detailed minutes is essential.
  • Excellent organisational/communication skills.
  • Handling a large amount of data and processing securely.
  • Work independently and use own initiative.
