Ward host/ hostess's - Part Time

Cordant People are urgently recruiting for several Part Time Ward Host/ Hostess's for the Swansea area working in the healthcare industry within the Catering services department.

Rate of Pay: Weekday shifts:£9.49ph

Weekday nights after 8pm: £13.67ph

Saturday shifts: £13.67ph

Sunday and Bank holiday shifts: £17.84ph

Hours of work: Part time: 19-24 hours per week. Shifts 2.30pm- 7.30pm with a 15 minute break. Working days of the week & weekend vary so must be flexible.

Contract: Temp ongoing contract commencing 13th December until end of Jan 2022- possibly longer.

MUST BE HAPPY TO WORK CHRISTMAS DAY & BOXING DAY (paid at bank holiday rates above).

Job Description

Candidates will be patient facing working on patient wards delivering patients their food and refreshment needs. You will be responsible for taking patient meal and refreshment orders, collecting and delivering the orders, clearing away and assisting the catering department and kitchen as and when needed.

Candidates will work within the principles of a flexible team approach and undertake operational duties in line with associated Banded colleagues.

The ward host/hostess must be receptive to individual patient's food service needs and treat any information about and their condition with utmost confidence.

Previous experience in patient care/ ward hosts is desirable but not essential.

Requirements:

Current Clear DBS check- this can be carried out by the agency

Food Hygiene certificate level 2 dated within the last year.
