Hours - 35 hours per week (+ 5 hours paid lunch)

Who are we looking for?
We are searching a split role: Accommodation Advisor who will work across the community and prison establishments, providing a tailored resettlement support to male clients in custody and under probation supervision in the community. The primary aim of the role is to support the clients via group and or individual interventions in overcoming barriers to obtaining secure and stable accommodation so that they can successfully reintegrate into society.Landlord Support Officer who will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with landlords across the region. In this role you will work with landlords to understand challenges, concerns and barriers to housing Nacro service users. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Contribute to the design and delivery of an effective resettlement plan which is solution focused and practical.Support service users to make progress against their objectives by providing tailored pathway interventions and making supported referrals into other agencies.Design and deliver effective group work programmes according to service user needs.Record, monitor and review progress against individual and service objectives to demonstrate impact and tangible outcomesTo identify, develop, manage new relationships, and maintain ongoing landlord relationships.Ensuring that landlords are held to account for any property management issues including repair and maintenance of properties that they are liable for.Provide advice and guidance to landlords to reduce barriers to engagement, including signposting to Criminal Records Support Service (CRSS).Develop and maintain a training package for landlords on engaging services as tenants.
Our ideal candidate will be familiar with the local area, has a positive, flexible, and can-do attitude. Good IT skills are essential as is the ability to communicate with internal & external stake holders. Successful applicants will need to demonstrate a commitment to, and an understanding of equal opportunities, diversity and safeguarding.
Travel will be required in this role and access to your own vehicle is essential
