Our client is an independent charity committed to bringing about better health and health care for people in the UK; to do this, they create opportunities for people to come together to share ideas, enhance skills, learn and collaborate. They are currently recruiting for an outward-facing Head of Community Networking and Development to provide improvement expertise and senior leadership for several service areas.

As Head of Community Networking and Development, you will bring broad expertise in approaches used to improve health and care, combined with creativity and practical experience in how to enable learning and knowledge exchange. You will provide flexible, senior experience across several service areas, including a new offering for those leading improvement at a national and regional level. The role will oversee recruitment to the community, ensuring a variety of networking and development opportunities, working with others to ensure the organisation makes the best use of team capacity.

To apply for this role, you will be skilled leader, with significant understanding of the health and care landscape in the UK (with some understanding of Ireland), and a knowledge of the distinctive roles that different groups and organisations play in improving quality and performance of health and care, and specifically building improvement capability and securing the adoption of new practices. You will be an outstanding communicator with a strong track record of development network/communities and working in partnership with other bodies to further organisational objectives. Overall, you will be collaborative leader, passionate about improving services through co-production opportunities and joint working.
