Analytical Chemist

We are currently looking for an Analytical Chemist to join a large contract testing company in Cambridgeshire.

The role:

As an Analytical Chemist you will carry out a range of analytical techniques including GC, GC-MS and HPLC.

Duties include:

• Setting up and running experiments to test a range of samples.
• Carry out GC, GC-MS, GC-FID and HPLC analysis.
• Follow SOPs and ensure work is carried out to UKAS and ISO 17025 guidelines.
• Perform instrument calibrations and troubleshooting.

Ideal candidates for the Analytical Chemist role will be:

Degree qualified in a Chemistry subject and have experience working in an analytical laboratory. You will have previous experience of one of the following techniques HPLC, GC, GC-MS or ICP analysis.
