Project Assurance Officer
A chance for a Project Assurance Officer to join a major Government department in a pivotal position. The role will be mostly working from home, with the occasional working days in the office.
Working within the Risk and Assurance Team, you'll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of project assurance activities. You will act as a project risk subject matter expert working closely with project managers, project officers and other stakeholders within the Organisation.
Responsibilities:
* Support the implementation and on-going review of the project assurance section of the Risk & Assurance framework.
* Assist the Project Assurance Manager to facilitate and attend project assurance review workshops with key stakeholders including project sponsors.
* Work with project implementation stakeholders to assess remedial action requirements following project assurance reviews.
* Assist the Project Assurance Manager to produce management information detailing project assurance activity and value achieved.
Ideal candidates will offer the following experience:
* You will be fluent and competent in discussing risks, risk appetite, categories of risks, and articulating the types of mitigations / controls and their respective impacts on reducing risks.
* Strong Communication and influencing skills, you'll be a confident communicator who enjoys working with team members and senior business stakeholders.
