Planned Giving Officer

Do you have experience of implementing and delivering fundraising and income generating opportunities? Do you want to use this experience and be part of stewardship programmes which will set us up with good financial asset and revenue management? If so, then we have a fantastic opportunity for you.

The Planned Giving Officer will play a key part in the development and implementation of the Diocesan fundraising and income generation activities to promote the organisational vision/objectives and secure funding for parishes, programme work and project work (and organisational core costs). With an emphasis on project management, research, writing and developing a stewardship programme across the diocese, whilst also expanding other fundraising channels.

You will be joining a busy and forward-thinking Fundraising team. The team are responsible for ensuring charitable funding supports high quality projects, for monitoring and evaluating funded projects, and providing support to a network of employees and volunteers at various levels.

We're looking for a talented individual who is passionate about supporting transformational change across the local community. You will have fundraising experience and be confident operating independently with appropriate support, and work closely with important external and internal stakeholders.

Permanent Full time, 35 hours per week.

Based in St Edmund's House, Bishop Crispian Way, Portsmouth PO1 3HQ

£25,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.
