Gas Engineer Long-term Temporary Mobile Role - Around Birmingham - \u00A314 per hour
Your new company
You'll be working for a large facilities management company to support client sites with the mobile delivery of gas\/combustion related maintenance. The work would be carried out various government buildings throughout Birmingham.
Your new role
You will be working as a part of a larger team of Maintenance Engineers providing a wide variety of maintenance services nationally. Your tasks will be completing planned and reactive operational maintenance throughout large office type buildings. You will be expected to be proactive and report into the site Facilities Manager and in line with QSHE policies & procedures. This role description is not exhaustive and other duties and responsibilities of a similar level and nature may be required from time to time.
This is a temporary long-term role with a 40-hour week.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have a full driving license for as travel will be required across various sites in your region and a van will be provided.
You must also have the relevant qualifications to work on gas heating boilers up to 350kw and will need knowledge in both Mechanical and Electrical building services that are normal for a building office location i.e., HVAC, electrical distribution, and emergency system. You need to have an excellent understanding of the planned maintenance requirements of medium sized gas heating boiler of circa 320kW capac
What you'll get in return
You will be paid weekly at a rate of \u00A314.19 per hour plus holiday pay. You will be entitled to 33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays, and a van will be provided to you for work use only
