Job Description
MBA are working exclusively with a new client who specialize in drainage insurance claims from their head office in Stockport. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Claims Handler to bring their technical experience and apply in a more focused end-to-end solution for customers.
For over 30 years, our client has worked alongside some of the largest insurers in the UK, offering a first-class, all-round service to their customers who have experienced drainage issues. This has also expanded to include internal perils such as floods & escape of water (eow).
The successful Claims Handler will handle a caseload of drainage / eow claims through to settlement, arranging repairs to be completed by their field-based experts. They will be liaising with insurers, third-party claims managers, brokers and the insured to provide expert claims handling and customer service.
In return, the Claims Handler can expect an annual salary up to £24,000 (DOE), 22 days annual leave, company pension enrolment, access to external qualifications and free parking in Stockport. The working hours are Mon - Fri (4 days - 8 am - 5pm; 1 day - 9am - 6pm). No Weekends
Claims Handler Responsibilities

* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders / support
* Provide a first-class customer experience
* Updating records
To be considered, the Claims Handler needs to have:
* Claims Handling experience
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent Customer Service skills
* Drive and ambition
Any experience in a drainage / water mains role will be highly advantageous, regardless of claims handling experience. This is an office-based role so the ability to commute to Stockport is a must.
