Operating in the UK, using excellent technical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, you will have the opportunity to develop new test techniques and methodologies to test, characterise and qualify our ICs. You will also be given the chance to share your knowledge and develop more junior members of the team. In return, Cirrus Logic offers an exceptionally unique environment where innovation is not only encouraged but rewarded.ResponsibilitiesDesign innovative multi-sites hardware and software solutions to reduce Test Time and lower Production costsOptimise and monitor Production YieldDevelop robust and precise ATE Characterisation and Qualification solutionsCollaborate with IC design engineers to define Test methodologies and lead Design for Test efforts pre-siliconDrive continuous improvement within the organisationMentor the very hardworking junior engineersRequired Skills and QualificationsDegree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with proven experience in Test Engineering for mixed-signal productsExpertise in Semiconductor Testing and development on IC Production Automated Test EquipmentAdvanced knowledge of PCB layout and schematic designHands-on experience with bench equipmentDeep understanding of analogue, digital and mixed-signal electronics - interest in audio engineering would be desirableExperience working in a commercially driven organisation as part of a product development teamExcellent time management skills and able to work to tight and variable time scales, plan and manage own workload and that of othersProject Leadership backgroundPreferred Skills and QualificationsDevelopment experience on Teradyne UltraFLEX, FLEX or CatalystVisual Basic, C/C++ and Python programming skillsData analysis software (JMP, Spotfire)PCB Schematics design (Mentor Graphics PADS or Xpedition)Advanced understanding of acoustic, audio and/or power management test techniquesCommunication, networking, presentation, negotiation and influencing skillsMentoring and coaching skillsAt Cirrus Logic, we believe that diversity drives innovation and we are committed to encouraging an open and collaborative culture where different approaches, ideas and points of view are respected and valued.
