Marine Monitoring Officer
• Location: Martin's Haven• Grade and Salary: 5, £30,873 rising to £34,218 over three years• Post number: 200084• Type of contract: Permanent, Part time 25hrs/wk• Work pattern: Normal working hours with some requirement for summer weekend working, early starts and late finishes.

Role Purpose:
Join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team monitoring Wales' marine environment. Based at Martin's Haven in a spectacular part of south west Wales, you will help to monitor and manage Wales' first Marine Protected Area: Skomer Marine Conservation Zone. Whilst your primary focus may lie at Skomer, you will also spend time supporting the marine monitoring team's wider remit across the rest of Welsh coastal waters.
With relevant environmental qualifications and/or experience, you will also be an experienced diver and used to working with boats.
