We are looking foa an AV Technician from 06 December 2021 to friday 7th January 2022
For PAYE a day rate of £150 is offered, Limited Company or CIS £190 is offered.
Current Roles and responsibilities
- Maintaining and servicing the audio-visual equipment onsite
- Providing technical support to each user to ensure meeting room technology is serving them best
- Setting up and testing of Video conferencing equipment
- First line support for any support staff from any European site regarding Video conferencing
- Organising and supporting all major meetings and events when needed
- Overseeing all Audio visual installations onsite ensuring each client requirement is met
- Conducting user training on VC equipment
- Hosting any contractors onsite
- Assisting the build room team with any technical problems
- Checking that AV equipment (projectors, displays) in the meeting rooms are maintained daily and are working accordingly
- Proactively looking for any service improvements regarding AV equipment
- Working with the PA's and management with their technical requests and providing solutions
- Arranging collection and delivery of faulty or replaced AV equipment
- Organising and management of quarterly Town hall work casts ensuring all Audio-visual needs are met and carried out and offer first line support to all parties
- Assisting the team/business with any Ad-hoc technical enquiries
- Providing "white Glove" service for Video conferencing calls with senior management and VIP's when needed

- First line response to any internet access enquiries and daily monitoring of our external connections
- Assisting the build room team with New starter's Desk phones and network connections
- Patching Network connections based on user's requirements
- Checking nibs on network cables
- Ensuring network connections in meeting rooms are working
- Creating and maintaining the Network diagram for the office using visio
- Allowing and escorting Contractors when accessing our Data Centre
