PLC Software Engineer - West Yorkshire - Permanent - £35-45k + overtime - System Integrator - Some home working
Samuel Frank Associates require an experienced PLC Software Engineer to join a very well established system integrator in West Yorkshire.
The role of PLC Software Engineer requires knowledge of some of the following packages - Mitsubishi (Q series PLC), Mitsubishi E series HMI configuration, Rockwell (ControlLogix PLC, RS Logix), Rockwell RSView32 configuration, Siemens (TIA Portal, WinCC), Wonderware InTouch SCADA Configuration.
The PLC Software Engineer position will involve;
* PLC system software writing (from scratch) & configuration
* Production of control and instrumentation design documentation and drawings including: specifications, P&IDs, control philosophies, instrument schedules and control system & communications block diagrams will also be expected.
The PLC Software Engineer will also undertake site surveys of existing installations and undertake site based commissioning work if required.
The client has some exciting projects booked and more in the pipeline, they're growing their Software capabilities to meet with client demand. The client is very well established and expects people to join them wanting to further themselves and have a desire and hunger to build a long and successful career with them.
The client is easily commutable from most of West Yorkshire and is well positioned to be commutable from Leeds, Bradford and the surrounding areas. There's also an option to work from home when project demands allow.
