Ancient Civilisations Tutor
Keeley St, Covent Garden /Working from Home
£35.78 per hour, inclusive of pro rata holiday entitlement and preparation time
Are you a dynamic, passionate and creative tutor of subjects related to the Ancient world? Then join us to develop and teach our Ancient Civilisation course - from history to archaeology, helping to bring together people across the capital and beyond and to enrich lives through learning. We are looking for a tutor to teach courses starting from early 2022 and work with us to further develop our offering.

Partnering with community organisations across London, we deliver bespoke projects that support individuals and communities.
You will be a key contributor to our thriving School of Languages and Cultures, where our expert tutors teach many languages and subjects related to the Ancient and the Modern world.
Please submit your CV and a covering letter, detailing your skills and experience. You will particularly attract our interest if this covers:
- Demonstrable experience of teaching Ancient Civilisation classes to groups of adults (over the age of 19) at varying levels.
- Experience of inspiring adult students to achieve and supporting them in overcoming barriers to learning
- Demonstrable experience of developing resources and assessment material to measure student progress.
- Excellent communication skills
- A relevant teaching qualification
- Experience of teaching online highly desirable
