Job Description

Launched in 2020 iwocaPay is on a mission to get sellers paid.

Late payments are one of the biggest challenges for the UK's 5.9 million SMEs, estimated to be chasing as much as £50 billion worth of payments. Taking up significant amounts of small business owners' time and paralysing their cash flow, late payments are a key constraint on many SMEs' ability to grow and in some cases threaten their very survival. In 2016 alone, late payments resulted in the bankruptcy of 50,000 businesses and the situation has only deteriorated since 2020. While several solutions have emerged to make accepting payments easier online and offline, their fees are often unattractive and fundamentally, they don't address the core problem of providing credit.

Which is where iwocaPay comes in. A flexible payments solution designed to get SMEs paid whether their customers prefer to pay now, through open banking, or take advantage of 90 day terms with affordable buy-now-pay-later financing, iwocaPay's simple pay links make payments painless for SMEs. Sellers can get started for free, payouts are instant and if they'd like guidance on how to optimise their payments strategy our Account Managers are just a phone call away.

It's an exciting time at iwocaPay. 18 months on from launch we've validated our initial MVP focused on getting sellers' invoices paid, achieved product-market fit and now we're preparing to scale in this evolving market. Today iwocaPay is at the forefront of some of the hottest trends in fintech, such as buy-now-pay-later for B2B space and embedded finance. But going forward we want to expand our offering to support more use-cases and customer types, ensuring iwocaPay continues to offer the best B2B payments solution for small businesses.

A small, but fast growing team, iwocaPay is a friendly group of engineers, designers and product specialists collaborating to create a payments solutions fit for today's small businesses.
