Are you a senior controls engineer looking to work on exciting renewable energy projects from conception to delivery? With the drive to net zero and decarbonisation, this company are in the market the right time! They have huge growth plans whilst being heavily backed by an industry giant. As a senior controls system engineer you will have plenty of opportunities to progress within this business as they scale up.

This company are part of a large organisation within the renewable industry with huge investment. This role will suit a Senior Controls Engineer/ Software engineer with a background in modern technologies looking to work on exciting green energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Development of PLC / SCADA system design and secure integration
• PLC/SCADA programming of control systems from output of development to relevant coding standards.
• Automation testing (Schneider, Siemens, Ignition)
• Concept through to commissioning at customer sites (Setting to Work and integrated Site Acceptance Tests).
• Ability to Lead an EC&I team
• Remote role with some travel to sites

Background Required

• Senior Controls Engineer with extensive experience on PLC/SCADA
• Worked on modern software tools and engineering practises
• Experience with automation testing
• Experienced in all stages of conception through to commissioning
• Experience on (Schneider, Siemens, Ignition)
• Experienced in programming and software configurations
• Electrical/ Electronic/ Automation (HNC/Degree level)
