Barker Munro recruitment is delighted to be back assisting a large Motor insurer to recruit a Technical Claims Controller. You will be home based and required to work for two days in one of the offices which are based in Kent, Sussex, Essex and Manchester.
Technical controllers are the custodians of technical performance across Group Claims. This includes the oversight of key technical strategies, best practice and standard operating procedure development and supporting the management of key suppliers.
The role is hands on at a strategic level, with a key area of responsibility managed by the Technical Controller. In addition, there will be an auditing requirement to identify areas for technical or strategic development, opportunities to improve processes and procedures, and to support monthly technical reporting.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking applicants with solid motor claims handling experience, including Credit Hire and Personal Injury. You should have a financial understanding of claim reserving and be able to collate and interpret Management Information to enable decision-making.
