Role: Senior Reporter
Location: London Canary Wharf
Grade: 10 ( For internal purposes only )
The Role: The Senior Reporter for the power and renewables sector, takes responsibility for day-to-day reporting on ESG focused trends and activities in the European region.
The Impact: The Market Reporter in this position is responsible for every aspect of market reporting, including the collection and publication of primary market information, running an assessment process, assessing the value of a variety of markets, reporting market-related news, writing commentary and analysis, contributing to methodology development and engaging with market sources.

Engage with the industry: The ESG focused reporter is responsible for engaging with market sources around the region. The market reporter should find and nurture new market sources; maintain a good relationship with existing sources; ensure source lists are up to date.
Responsibilities & Skills:
- Produce proprietary coverage of the power and renewables sector in Europe, with a focus on the energy transition, power plant assets and ESG trends.
- Provide editing and story assignment support for EU time zones.
- Produce content related to the S&P Global European power plant database and other datasets on the Market Intelligence platform.
- Coordinate and represent MI news with Platts editorial colleagues in Europe.
-Represent MI news and energy team as needed for commercial engagement.
