Role: Senior Network Programmer/ Developer

Salary: £40-60k DOE

Location: Fully Remote- UK only

Company: Games Company / Engineering

Start Date: ASAP

Must be Eligible to work in the UK and must be in the UK.

About:

My client is looking for someone to work on an unannounced AAA title. You will be joining a fast- paced gaming studios. On this project you will be working on exciting technology. Within this role you will be taking ownership and responsibility for delivering networking systems and related gameplay features.

For this role you will be familiar with existing online service providers (Playfab, Thunderhead, Azure, AOS) and be excited to provide mentoring and support the rest of the team.

As a Senior Network Programmer, you will either have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science a Technical Degree or have significant experience making video games.

Key Requirements:

• Full Network experience and understanding
• Sockets, Web Sockets
• Http(s)/ REST API
• Compression
• Integrated with games UI and Networking TRC's
• Familiar with authentication systems
• Familiar with bandwidth optimisation, dead- reckoning, trouble shooting poor networking conditions
• Security, anti- cheat and encryption strategies, SSL, Bcrypt, AES- CCM Encryption
