Materials Scheduler
Job Description
- Receipt, evaluation and action customer order and forecast data.
- Plan internal schedules according to agreed processes and monitor performance of manufacturing areas to ensure customer requirements are achieved.
- To maintain Customer portal data as required and ensure
- performance is 100% to our customers.
- Support running and review of capacity reports.
- Raw material scheduling and general consumable purchase, including maintaining stock levels and usage reporting.
- To liaise with other members of the Planning & Procurement Department and to formulate and coordinate a weekly production plan for all production areas, taking into account all material availability, capacity, constraints and stock holdings.
- To be aware of general production and technical constraints at all times.
- To maintain accurate system records for all schedule requirements.
- To monitor specific raw material and bought our part levels against customer requirements and predetermined inventory policies, with the aim of keeping the overall stock value to a minimum whilst ensuring sufficient stock is always available to meet all production demands.
- To maintain an accurate, logical and comprehensive filing system for all correspondence and additional data.
- To keep all costs to the Company to a minimum, specifically those associated with transport and storage.

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualification Required
- Experience within relevant M/ERP software systems (SAP essential)
- 2 years' experience withing a similar role
Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualification Required
- Automotive experience desirable
- Excellent communication Skills
- Organised and structured
