We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Site Reliability Engineer Lead, working in an agile, dynamic and evolving environment. Reporting into the SRE Manager, this position's primary function is to lead the SRE team and build; infrastructure as code, automated pipelines, and other software services to enable and support LNRSG's cloud platforms. You will be leading the SRE team in designing, building, implementing, optimising and supporting our solutions. You will be responsible for driving the continuous improvement of existing products and processes and building infrastructure for new products and applications. With your leadership and drive; platforms are scalable and autonomous, releases go Live without any downtime and platforms are secure. The successful candidate will need to hit the ground running, with proven experience leading teams in Site Reliability, Systems Engineering or DevOps. Remote working and travel to our Sutton, Surrey office. Key Skills
- Experience in SRE and with DevOps methodology and practices.
- Experience migrating applications from on-premises to public cloud.
- Knowledge of change control and associated procedures.
- Strong and enthusiastic technologist, able to demonstrate a broad technical knowledge.
- Team management and virtual team management skills.
- Financial understanding and awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery of resilient application stacks via Infrastructure as Code and other DevOps practices.
- Monitoring and on-going support of critical, high revenue business applications.
- Diagnosis and resolution of complex system and application issues.
- Successful project / activity delivery within budget and agreed timeframes.
- Driving and leading cloud migrations.
- Apply problem-solving skills and technical expertise to support assignments and strategic decisions.
