Salary - £9.75 per hour

Shifts - 40 Hours, 5 days over 6 (Inc Saturdays)

McQueens Dairies is a family brand, providing customers with the nostalgic experience of doorstep milk deliveries.

We have opened a new Dairy in East Kilbride and have opportunities for Production Operative.

ABOUT THE JOB

Job Purpose of Production Operative - To operate filling machines to supply finished milk packaged products.

Key Responsibilities

• To ensure that hygiene and cleanliness standards of all personnel and equipment are maintained.
• To ensure the achievement of daily production requirements in relation to the figures set by the production management team
• To administer and update all required documentation & records relating to filler operation.
• Ensure that fillers and production equipment is properly cleaned and sterilised.
• To ensure that agreed daily cleaning schedules, routines and procedures are strictly adhered to.
• Ensure that the wastage of materials, products and services is kept to a minimum.
• To carry out average weights testing in accordance with company procedures to ensure legal compliance.

Desired Experience

• Previous experience as a machine operator in a FMCG environment, preferably food manufacturing.

The successful candidate will be hands-on, energetic with previous experience and will be able to work under pressure and use their initiative.
