Reinsurance Technician Witham with some remote working availableWe are currently seeking experienced Insurance professionals to join Guy Carpenter in order to work as part of a dedicated team of Technicians in Witham. You will support our client base through transactional processing, securing reinsurance recoveries and through timely and accurate system entry. Also covering excess of loss and pro rata business or alternatively binder and facultative risks types.Assess and submit client and/or reinsurer presentation materials and communicationsWork with Market Fiduciary to assist with collection of fundsManage all brokerage receivables, funding, retention, e-trading, post booking receipt, ad hoc reporting requests, payment of funds and all management and transactional process stepsPromote, build and maintain relationships with Brokers, Clients and Markets. Understand issues, resolve problems and queries and review working practicesParticipate in team meetings and activities to share opinions, ideas, knowledge and solutionsWhat you need to have:Priorexperience of working within a technical capacity ideally within the Reinsurance sector, although candidates with insurance claims backgrounds may also be considered (5+ years' experience)Successful management of workload; with an ability to manage expectations of all clients and stakeholdersAble to engage, influence and negotiate with clients, market contacts and colleagues in a professional mannerStrong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbalProficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) requiredWhat makes you stand out:Reinsurance professional experience and technical knowledge.Significant experience of working in a technical capacity for a BrokerExperience of using London Market systems such as ECF and LORSAbout us:Guy Carpenter & Company, LLC is a leading global risk and reinsurance specialist with more than 3,100 professionals in over 60 offices around the world.
