Also covering excess of loss and pro rata business or alternatively binder and facultative risks types.Assess and submit client and/or reinsurer presentation materials and communicationsWork with Market Fiduciary to assist with collection of fundsManage all brokerage receivables, funding, retention, e-trading, post booking receipt, ad hoc reporting requests, payment of funds and all management and transactional process stepsPromote, build and maintain relationships with Brokers, Clients and Markets. Understand issues, resolve problems and queries and review working practicesParticipate in team meetings and activities to share opinions, ideas, knowledge and solutionsWhat you need to have:2+ years priorinsurance experience with a desire to move into Reinsurance in a technical capacity claims backgrounds or premium processing experience will be advantageousSuccessful management of workload; with an ability to manage expectations of all clients and stakeholdersAble to engage, influence and negotiate with clients, market contacts and colleagues in a professional mannerStrong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbalProficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) requiredWhat makes you stand out:Reinsurance professional experience and technical knowledge (desirable)Significant experience of working in a technical capacity for a BrokerExperience of using London Market systems such as ECF and LORSAbout us:Guy Carpenter & Company, LLC is a leading global risk and reinsurance specialist with more than 3,100 professionals in over 60 offices around the world.
