We are looking for a Trade Compliance Analyst to support the business with the increase in volume of import and export transactions following Brexit. Whilst experience in trade compliance and customs matters is preferred, it is not essential as full and comprehensive training of our processes will be provided by our experienced team. You will also work closely with other areas of the business including Legal & Compliance, Operations, Commercial and Purchasing teams.
The role sits within the Tax, Customs & Trade Compliance Team, which is responsible for day-to-day compliance and external reporting obligations and are focused on providing support including guidance and advice to all areas of the business with an inquisitive, positive and control conscious approach. To be successful in the role the applicant will need to adopt a proactive attitude to engaging with internal stakeholders within the business functions to ensure that the commodities being exported and imported by the business are transacted in a compliant manner, accurate records are maintained for audit and all statutory obligations are met.

It is anticipated that the successful candidate will have a requirement to acquire additional knowledge of UK and other relevant foreign export/import regulations (e.g. US EAR, ITAR) as well as SAP and other Internal Customs and Trade tools so willingness to learn and expand knowledge is essential.
