This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced manager to join the senior leadership team of this admired department store. This role takes on all aspects the food offering including eight restaurants and the food retail stores - a wine shop, a bakery and a gift offering. This is a new role within the management team highlighting the importance of the food experience to the customer journey in store.
We are open on background - food or retail in general, but the successful candidate needs to be passionate about food. You will be the go to person on all things food and will work closely with the food buying team to drive the offering in the Birmingham store, bringing to the store what you know the Midlands customer wants.
You will be responsible for the commercial side of the department - both sales and profits, you'll drive a high performing team and develop innovative products to drive excellent service to the customers.
