Area to be covered: Northern Home Counties & East Anglia (ideally based Berkshire)

Remuneration: up to £40,000 + 15% Bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Acoustic / Ventilation Products will involve:

• Field sales position selling a high quality range of manufactured acoustic air movement / ventilation products such as fan coils, attenuation units, fan units, ventilation systems, acoustic screens, noise reduction systems and heat recovery units
• Ideally come into the office in Berkshire 1 day per week (will be flexible on this for the right person)
• Majority of your time will be focusing on commercially led projects
• 50% of your time will focus on getting specified with M&E consultants and the remaining 50% will be seeing projects through and selling directly via M&E contractors
• Dealing with order values from as low as £1k up to £500k+
• Taking over a territory currently turning over circa £1-£1.5m
• Working with and liaising with Sales Director

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Acoustic / Ventilation Products with:

• Must have experience construction sales experience (would consider outside of the HVAC market sector)
• Would consider somebody internally looking to make a step out on the read
• Ideally from the HVAC market place
• Ideally hold a qualification or apprenticeship, have good A-levels or an engineering/science degree
• Ideally have knowledge of related HVAC products such as: fan units, fan coils, attenuation units, air handling, ventilation systems, air movement, acoustic screens, noise reduction systems and heat recovery unit (would consider background) experience selling to M&E consultants and M&E contractors
• Capacity to understand technical products
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Genuine 'get up and go' work ethic
• Results orientated, hungry and enthusiastic
