Financial Controller

Talentedge are working very closely with one of the most exciting Start ups here in the UK. This VC backed founder led business are currently scaling rapidly and now have the need to hire a Financial Controller, reporting into highly accomplished Finance Director.
Role Responsibilities
· Management of finance function and automate where possible using technology
· Monthly management accounts and annual statutory reporting
· Analysing CAC, LTV, ACV, CHURN, ARR, MRR etc
· Create business cases to support commercial decision making, including geographical expansion and potential new product launches
· Development of reporting including cashflow reporting and management accounting packs
· Preparation of materials for Board packs
· Support for fundraise back office- data room, financial modelling and investor queries
· Lead on statutory audit process
· Ad hoc analysis
Candidate Requirements
· Qualified ACA/CIMA accountant
· Experience of working with startup or scaleup businesses, either in an in-house finance role or if coming directly from practice then having worked with small companies as clients
· Consumer start up experience
· Proven experience designing and developing finance processes and workflows
· Advanced Excel, modelling and Powerpoint Skills
· Proficient in software systems (Xero, Unleashed, Pleo)
