The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and execution of the aircraft maintenance carried out in accordance with the requirements of Part 145 and Part M.
The role:
- Reporting to the Technical Services Supervisor.
- Deputising for the Technical Services Supervisor in their absence.
- Production of RFQ's to include identification of tooling, replacement components, consumable materials and third-party services that may be required.
- Liaise with customers to plan their maintenance requirements.
- Production of required Work Pack
- Present and discuss with the Engineering Department:
- The work scope content
- The customer's desired input/output dates
- The calculated man-hours estimated to complete the work scope
- Critical path items
- Identify and resolve any variance between Engineering Department's capability and customer requirement
- License coverage, certification and any labour requirement
- Co-ordinate and chair maintenance pre-input meetings.
- Issue Work Pack to the Engineering Department in a timely manner to allow for manpower allocation.
- Management of aircraft maintenance inputs from initial planning stages to aircraft release.
- Act as internal point of contact for input duration, liaising between all relevant departments to ensure work scope is completed on time and to budget.
- Act as point of contact for customer for duration of input; obtaining approval for additional work and sending periodic updates to the customer of the status of their aircraft.
- Audit completed work packs received back from the Engineering Department.
- Ensure all work carried out complies with the Regulatory Authority and Company Procedures in force at the time of the work being carried out.
- Ensure all documentation is completely correctly and provide a detailed hand over of any work in progress.
- Co-ordinate and chair maintenance 'wash-up' meetings as required.
- Performing any other duties assigned by the Technical Services Supervisor and Engineering Manager
