Assistant Merchandiser - £21,500 - 25,000 per annum plus benefits

The role…

You will support the Merchandising team by ensuring that all product is in the right stores in order to achieve departmental sales, markdown, stock, intake and profit plans and you will substitute for the Merchandiser in their absence. You will input into the creation of the store strategy along with the Merchandiser and Buyer as well as assisting in the formulation of the range plan at store level. You'll use your Merchandising skills to provide the Merchandiser and Buyer with the previous season analysis at both store and product level.

The role also involves preparing weekly review of stores and product as well as identifying priority stores for the week, reviewing and proposing actions. You will also use the WSSI and manage line cards.

About you…

You will have experience as either an Assistant Merchandiser or Merchandising Assistant who is experienced within the retail industry. The ideal candidate will be extremely numerate with a keen eye for detail, have strong communication skills and be someone with a huge passion for product.
