Send Learning Support Assistant

The Education Specialists are seeking Teaching Assistants with experience supporting pupils and students with complex needs and/or medical needs.

The school has a specialist provision catering for children aged 3-16 years. All pupils have an education, health and care plan (EHCP) that reflects their complex learning and/or medical needs. The school provides students with a calm, safe and supportive learning environment in which they can thrive.

As a Teaching Assistant you will be required to work closely with the Classroom Teacher to provide a positive and encouraging classroom environment. You will support pupils with a range of abilities across a variety of subjects, ensuring students are engaged in lessons, setting aspirational targets for pupils learning and for their involvement in wider school life and the community.

If you are looking for a short or long term contract please do get in touch. Experience within a classroom setting is not essential, experience of working with children in a care background is ideal for this position.

This position is to start immediately/as soon as possible until July 2022
