Job Description

A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a Head of Project Operations, to join a company based near London Bridge. As the new Head of Project Operations you will provide leadership and guidance to your team and implement change initiatives to support group and regional development strategies. You will Operate as a regional business leader and member of the function's senior management team, contributing to the overall vision and strategy of the function.

* Develop and maintain a high performing team, ensuring core responsibilities are met to an excellent standard
* Implement ways of working to enable a high performing team that's flexible, agile and can respond and adapt to changing situations
* Act as a role model, ensuring your team uphold the goals and working principles of the function
* Set performance objectives and perform interim and annual reviews providing continuous feedback on performance
* Contribute to the design and development of a global project operations function enabling a standardised approach to project administration
* Collaborate to identify opportunities to reduce the admin burden to our project managers and service delivery teams
* Lead change initiatives and implement new ways of working within the EMEA region
* Operate as a business partner to stakeholders
* Deliver to KPIs and SLA's - monitor and report upon the efficiency and accuracy of the project lifecycle.
* Makes decisions that drive high performance and meet client needs
* Balances risks with decision making, being prepared to mitigate risk
* Drives self and team to deliver against objectives and meet client needs
* Translates and creates practical actions from a strategic plan
* Demonstrates political awareness to build strong relationships and deliver business results


Essential
* Extensive experience in a business operations or Project management
* Understanding of transactional project data including, but not limited to; work in progress management, cost monitoring, invoicing and resource planning.
* Track record of delivering and/or leading a team through business change
* Experienced and skilled people manager

Skills and experience required for the Head of Project Operations:

* Experience of designing and implementing business process
* Critical thinking and business analytical skills
* Stakeholder management and influencing skills
* Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise work
* Strong communication skills - written and oral (informal and presentational)
