Role Purpose:We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to start immediately within our Replacement Project's Commercial Team at Northern Gas Networks. The successful applicant will form part of a close knit, dynamic commercial team and will be required to support the Commercial Manager and the wider commercial team in maximising commercial value, reducing risk to the business and assisting with the delivery of all specific business outputs and targets. The Quantity Surveyor role is responsible for a portfolio of replacement projects and contracts ranging between £10k to £500k.
The Quantity Surveyor role will be full time and due to COVID guidance will involve a mixture of both home, office and depot working. Any required office working shall be from our offices at Thorpe Park, Leeds. The Quantity Surveyor will also be expected to travel to Cumbria (Carlisle) and North Tyne (Newcastle) depots on a weekly basis. There will also be a requirement to visit the site works as and when the need arises.
