Ashfield District Council is looking for an enthusiastic, committed, and self-motivated Maintenance Operative (Planned & Cyclical) to join our team. You will be working on a full-time basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £20,092 - £21,748 per annum (pay award pending).

About the Maintenance Operative (Planned & Cyclical) role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated team member to assist the Planned & Cyclical Maintenance Team by completing a range of repairs and maintenance work to Council owned properties whilst achieving a high standard of customer care and satisfaction.

This position will primarily include repairs and maintenance activities such as the installation / replacement of Carbon Monoxide alarms and smoke detectors and the completion of a range of health and safety inspections / checks to communal dwellings.

You will require knowledge and experience of general building and construction practices, a friendly and positive outlook, along with experience of dealing with the public.

NB: Appropriate electrical training will be provided to the successful candidate.
