Summary: To support our growing business, ICIS Marketing is looking for a Junior Designer to sit within our Content Marketing Team. Experience in graphic and digital design is a must, as the role will take a hands-on approach to producing high quality design assets for web, social, print and events, as well as video, animation, gifs and digital web pages. This role is specifically focused on digital marketing content and presents a fantastic opportunity to help shape the focus of ICIS and the presence it plays both internally, and public facing. The role will sit within a team of skilled content creatives, and there will be a need to work across multiple projects and stakeholders, ensuring the level of design work is both bold and brilliant, whilst being consistent with the ICIS brand, and strategic in its approach to marketing campaigns. ICIS is a global business, so working across continents to aid in regional campaigns, as well as global initiatives, will be an everyday occurrence. The role requires someone who is exceptionally organised with their time and workload, and is able to prioritise projects based on business needs. There will be exposure and opportunities to work on some fantastic campaigns right from day one, and the scope to really leave a mark on the creative work that ICIS produces will be there for the taking. Working across the entire team's portfolio in ICIS, the work will be varied and the challenges inspiring. Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on experience delivering high quality digital design work for a variety of media
  • Experience with Abobe Cloud design software is a must, including (but not limited to) Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Lightroom
  • Experience with video software would be a plus
  • Able to receive and interpret a brief, with experience in understanding the goals and interpreting them into actionable design requirements
  • Can contribute to creative discussions and think broadly about the role the design work will play in landing a great creative concept
  • Will feel comfortable presenting and pitching ideas to key stakeholders within the business
  • Collaborate with other members of the Content Team to work cross-functionally on digital content ideas
  • Able to take on constructive criticism and feedback, with an ability to review own work objectively
  • Create moodboards, treatments and design concepts that communicate the end goal and win over stakeholders
  • Keep up to date with the latest technology and will always be looking for new opportunities for ICIS to try something brave
  • Is a brand guardian for materials created not just within the Content Team, but across the business

Experience / Skills:

  • Strong experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor's Degree in Design, or related field, or able to show equivalent experience
  • Portfolio of work demonstrating level of design competency on past projects
  • Expert within design editing tools and software
  • Experienced with design techniques, visual elements and compiling creative designs ready for delivery
  • Excellent time management, communication, and project prioritisation skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team
  • Fantastic attention to detail
  • Shorthand, Infogram or similar digital content channel experience desired.

Communication skills: Comfortable in presenting his/her team's project, creative ideas, and responses to briefs. Can communicate within the team effectively, as well as design principles and techniques. Comfortable reaching out to senior members of the team and stakeholders for clarity and information. Flexibility in working hours: Able to accommodate working outside the "usual" working hours of his/her time zone when required, such as global team conference calls, critical projects roll-out, etc Behaviours:
