?An exciting opportunity has arisen in the School of Hair, Beauty, Catering and Creative Arts for an Hourly Paid Lecturer in Business and Marketing to teach on the Foundation degree in Salon and Spa Management.
You will join a vibrant and high-performing team, mainly working in our facilities at our Luton campus. The successful candidate must be confident that they can contribute to and improve our team and be a strong role model for our students.
You will be required to teach business modules including Salon Operations and Management, Principles of Marketing, Small Business Planning and Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Business Management.
The successful candidate must have the capacity and ability to manage the progress of learners across Level 4 and 5 and support their pastoral needs whilst monitoring course specific KPI's.
A relevant degree in Business Management and Marketing is essential. Previous experience teaching on a Foundation degree programme is desirable, as is a teaching qualification. You will also have an ability to promote, support and embed English and Maths skills within the planning and delivery of all teaching.
The successful candidate will be working 2 hours per week. This is a fixed term contract until July 2022.
