Learning Support Assistant - Skills for Life (Term Time Only)

?We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join the Skills for Life team, providing a wide range of programmes for students with learning difficulties and or disabilities.

As a key part of this specialist team, the successful candidate will be supporting the delivery of outstanding personalised learning opportunities within the college and guiding the learners through work placements. We want people who can assist learners to experience all aspects of College and work life.

You will need to be flexible, working well as part of a team to support the provision for learners within Skills for Life, as well as those attending through our links with local schools.

The successful candidate will have an understanding and experience of working with students who have diverse special learning needs.

Working with a range of students, a high standard of communication and interpersonal skills is essential. These roles require proactive professionals who can work with the teaching team to remove potential barriers and support the learner assessment process.

This is a fixed term position, 35 hours per week initially until 31 August 2022. You will be based at Barnfield College, Luton.
