Running alongside our customer facing e-commerce website, this system provides our Ambassadors with the functionality to place orders on behalf of their customers. Our new E-Commerce Back Office Specialist (could it be you?!) would be responsible for maintaining this ordering system and supporting the Head of E-commerce with innovative development projects. You'd play a key role in our product launches, as well as leading communication cross-departmentally with Supply Chain, NPD, Accounts and Marketing to ensure the smooth running and management of all back-office activities. This is an essential role within a highly driven Marketing Team, so we're looking for someone with incredible attention to detail, who's process driven and a great communicator to oversee this important system and take testing developmental projects in their stride. Sound like you? RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct testing and set various promotional offers and product redemption routines live on the system. Maintain a high level of communication with Supply Chain, Accounts and other key departments in the business to ensure alignment and flow of information. Manage all Tropic products within back office on the system, working closely with Supply Chain and the Marketing teams to ensure product information, SKUs and details are correct. Run reports and export relevant data from the system when required. Assist the Ambassador Support department with technical queries relating to the system. Work closely with the Head of E-commerce on our second ecommerce platform to ensure product management and processes are aligned . Assist in the on-going development of the system. Assist in creating and maintaining system process documents. Manage key system development projects to help improve the overall user experience. Play a pivotal part in our product launches, working closely with NPD to have a clear understanding of the products being launched and managing the launch schedule from a system perspective. Maintain the system through uploading and maintaining content, including product pack shots, ingredient information and general copy and content. Liaise with third party providers for the investigating and testing of potential new functions and updates - managing quotes, timelines and testing to ensure new functionalities are correct. Provide analysis and reporting on system usage and maintain feedback channels for review of user experience. Assist the Learning and Development team with information for creating training and educational content relating to the system for users. Provide general administrative assistance to the Head of E-commerce. ABOUT YOU 1-3 years' experience working on back-office systems. Previous experience coordinating back-end product management. A can-do attitude and extremely effective communication skills, with experience managing cross-departmental communications preferable. Meticulous attention to detail - you're organised and eagle-eyed! ADDITIONAL Full time role: 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. Hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days a week required in the office. Office is conveniently located just 3 minutes' walk from Beddington Lane Tram stop, which is connected to East Croydon and Wimbledon - both 20 minutes away. Approx. 30 min travel time from South West London, 35 mins from South London (Brixton, Stockwell etc.)Full time role: 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. . Position available immediately. As a Packaging Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing existing, and sourcing new, suppliers; building solid and trusted relationships; and ensuring your categories are maintained in the most effective and profitable manner for the business. You will take ownership of the packaging sourcing; therefore, it is essential you have working knowledge and proven experience of packaging and materials: mainly in our key packaging commodities (including glass, lids, recyclable plastic, aluminium and cardboard) and be able to demonstrate this. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing suppliers to ensure competitive, reliable and sustainable sources of supply, whilst constantly dealing with suppliers in an upfront, honest and mutually beneficial manner. Project management expertise to drive the change of our main primary and secondary packaging range, finding reliable suppliers who can deliver the business needs. Ensure negotiated prices are consistent, competitive and at the best possible terms. Develop strong understanding of material commodities, identifying trends, striving to reduce risk and maximise commercial performance. Manage the procurement process including competitive pricing, supplier selection and negotiation, contract implementation, service level agreements and supplier performance review. Proactively strive for continuous development, suggesting improvements and ways to drive profit growth and sales through collaboration with Supply Chain and NPD. Achieve year on year cost savings consistent with the purchasing budget. Build and deliver a pipeline of projects by engaging with internal cross-functional stakeholders, understanding needs and requirements aligned to functional and business targets. Work closely with NPD and Design to source the new packaging required. Work with Supply Chain to resolve supply issues/pricing queries as required, ensuring continuity of product supply. Work closely with Technical to ensure existing and new suppliers comply with the Group's Technical Standards and Practices. Arrange and co-ordinate samples for new packaging with the suppliers. Collate product detail information. Manage the approval process for components and packaging, working closely with Technical providing feedback to suppliers on initial, pre-production and production samples. Manage the Junior Buyer. Ensure all departmental processes are implemented and adhered to. ABOUT YOU Degree qualified with minimum of 5 years' experience sourcing packaging ideally in a cosmetic brand. High numeracy skills. High efficiency and ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment. Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing projects. Strong relationship builder, respected by Suppliers, peers and Senior Managers alike, able to balance the requirements of different stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
