Lead IT Engineer Leeds-with travel around Yorkshire £31,000 to £34,000 Your new company Hays Technology are recruiting a Lead IT Engineer to join a large, growing public sector organisation based in the Yorkshire area. You will be part of the IT Service Support team and will be reporting into the IT Service Support Manager. You will be required to visit various sites across Yorkshire offering a wide-ranging technical support service. Your new role In your new role, you will be responsible for maintaining the availability and functionality of the end-user environment, whilst taking ownership of complex technical tasks, supporting infrastructure improvement projects, and optimising the investment in IT systems. You will be delivering outstanding customer service and support, as well as taking a proactive approach to work, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail. You will also be providing support for Microsoft O365, deploying and installing software, managing Active Directory and troubleshooting printers, whilst supporting Windows 10/11 deployment, resolving related issues and troubleshooting PC hardware problems. You will also be conducting basic network and connectivity troubleshooting.
