Job responsibilities:- The Building Regulations Principal Designer (BRPD) Consultant is responsible for delivering high-quality Building Regulations compliance and design risk management services in accordance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and associated regulations. The role provides senior-level technical leadership across projects, ensuring that design work complies with all relevant functional requirements of the Building Regulations and that compliance is planned, managed, and monitored throughout the design phase. In addition to technical delivery, the role plays a key part in developing client relationships, growing the BRPD service offering, and contributing to business development activities, positioning the business as a trusted compliance advisor.
