At a Glance Location: Cambridge In-office expectation: Flexible hybrid, once in the office every two weeks Employment type: Permanent Salary: £60,000 to £75,000, subject to experience Why This Role Exists Redgate's product teams move fast, across a growing set of AI and cloud-native technologies, and security can't just be a gate at the end of that process. This role exists to embed security expertise directly into how our engineering teams build and ship software: setting the standards, running the threat modelling, and making the judgement calls that keep pace with delivery instead of slowing it down. About Redgate Redgate brings together people who want to do their best work in an environment built on trust, accountability, and collaboration. We build solutions that help data professionals securely manage the data and databases their organisations depend on, a space that's only becoming more critical as systems scale, data regulations increase, and AI adoption accelerates. AI at Redgate By 2028, Redgate will operate as an expert-plus-agent company: domain experts amplified by AI, delivering customer value at a pace our peers can't match. AI handles the heavy lifting, our people control the judgement. Everyone at Redgate works with Claude, giving you access to the best AI tools from day one. Why Join Our Product Security Team You'll shape how security works across multiple product teams, rather than enforcing policy from the sidelines. There's real scope to specialise in emerging areas like AI security, work most security roles don't get exposure to yet. We value pragmatic, real risk reduction over checkbox compliance, so the judgement you bring carries genuine weight. About the Role This role sits within our Product Security function, embedded across multiple product and engineering teams rather than a single one. You'll define and operationalise security requirements throughout the SDLC, from initial design through to release, with real authority to make independent security calls rather than deferring to what a scanner tells you. It's a role built on trust: teams will come to you for guidance, and the judgement you bring to triage, threat modelling, and governance decisions will shape how security actually gets done here. Partner directly with engineering and product teams to define and operationalise security requirements across the full SDLC Own or co-own application security governance: secure-by-default standards, patterns, guardrails, and risk exceptions Lead threat modelling for new features and architectural changes, turning findings into practical engineering work Drive SAST/DAST adoption and quality, from tool tuning to severity calibration and developer-facing triage guidance Support product teams adopting AI, including LLMs, SLMs, and MCP, giving you visibility into work most security roles wouldn't touch What Makes You a Great Fit Hands-on product or application security experience, embedding security practices across a modern software development lifecycle Ability to review code and communicate security issues clearly to developers, primarily within a C# ecosystem, with exposure to Java or Python Strong knowledge of the OWASP Top 10 and practical mitigation patterns Experience implementing or improving SAST/DAST processes: tool tuning, triage workflows, and reducing signal to noise Working understanding of cloud and container security fundamentals, ideally with AWS and Docker What We Offer Salary range: £60,000 to £75,000, subject to experience Hybrid working: home and Cambridge office Monthly wellbeing allowance and generous paid time off Genuine investment in learning, development, and career progression Private health insurance Link to full benefits page here What Happens Next? Your application will be reviewed by a person. We don't use AI or automated tools to assess applications, and every profile is read by one of our Talent Partners. You'll hear back within a few days. Whether it's a next step or a no, we aim to respond promptly so you're not left wondering. Our interview process is straightforward and consistent. You'll find more detail on our typical hiring process below, so you know what's coming and why. Hybrid - Reading 2 days per week in the office Are you a Senior Software Developer who is already building with AI, LLMs and modern Microsoft technologies? We're working with a rapidly growing Microsoft Solutions Partner that is investing heavily in its AI and innovation capability. They're looking for an experienced Senior AI Full Stack Developer to help design and deliver the next generation of AI-powered applications for enterprise customers. This isn't a traditional Machine Learning or Data Science role. They need a strong full-stack software engineer first - someone who knows how to build secure, scalable, production-grade applications and has embraced technologies such as LLMs, AI agents, RAG and AI-assisted development. You'll be joining a fast-moving AI & Data Innovation team, initially helping establish the patterns, standards and approaches the wider business will use to deliver AI-powered software at scale. What you'll be doing You'll work directly across customer projects, taking ideas and business requirements through to secure, production-ready applications. Your responsibilities will include: Designing and developing production-grade AI-powered applications. Building modern full-stack solutions using technologies such as React, Node.js, .NET/C#, Python and FastAPI. Integrating Microsoft AI technologies including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Foundry Agents and Azure AI Search. Ideally, you'll have: Extensive commercial full-stack development experience with one or more of: React / Node.js Python / FastAPI A strong track record of delivering production-grade software, not just prototypes. Experience designing and deploying applications within Microsoft Azure. Hands-on experience integrating LLMs or Generative AI into real applications. Experience with technologies or approaches such as: RAG AI agents / agentic systems AI-powered workflows Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor or similar. Strong knowledge of modern engineering practices including: CI/CD Git Pull requests and peer review Automated testing Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills. The ability to take ambiguous requirements and turn them into structured, scalable solutions. Microsoft AI experience Experience across the Microsoft AI ecosystem would be particularly valuable, including: Foundry Agents Cognitive Services MCP AI evaluation, testing and observability Previous experience working within a Microsoft Partner, consultancy, MSP or professional services environment would also be highly advantageous. Why this role? This is an opportunity to do much more than deliver individual AI projects. You'll have the chance to influence how an established Microsoft organisation approaches AI-powered software engineering - defining patterns, testing emerging technologies, creating reusable capabilities and helping shape how AI solutions are delivered across future customer engagements. Full time
Hybrid - Reading 2 days per week in the office Are you a Senior Software Developer who is already building with AI, LLMs and modern Microsoft technologies? Building LLM-powered applications, RAG architectures, agentic workflows and MCP integrations. Deploying secure and scalable applications within Microsoft Azure. Working directly with customers to translate business challenges into practical technical solutions. Using tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude and Cursor to accelerate software development. Maintaining strong engineering standards across testing, security, code quality, CI/CD and production readiness. Building prototypes and proof-of-concepts that can be evolved into production solutions. Helping define reusable AI engineering patterns, components and accelerators. Evaluating emerging AI frameworks and identifying where they genuinely add value. Mentoring developers and helping AI-assisted development become part of mainstream engineering delivery. What we're looking for You'll need strong commercial software engineering experience combined with genuine hands on exposure to generative AI. If you're a strong software engineer who has genuinely embraced AI-assisted development and wants to be building real world AI applications rather than simply talking about them, this is a great opportunity. Salary: Up to £85,000 + bonus + benefits Location: Reading Working model: Hybrid - 2 days per week in the Reading office

Connected IT has exclusively partnered with a pioneering technology scale-up that builds enterprise Voice AI systems. Their cutting-edge platform connects AI agents and agent-assist technologies directly into real contact-centre voice environments. They are currently undergoing significant growth and are expanding their dedicated engineering hub in Manchester. The Role Our client is seeking a senior, hands-on Voice AI Integration Lead to act as the technical bridge between complex enterprise telephony systems and production AI. This is not a traditional telecoms engineering / operations job, a generic PBX administration role, or a software developer position. You will lead the design, build, and troubleshooting of integrations that make real-time AI voice services function seamlessly in customer environments. Beyond project delivery, you will dedicate a portion of your time to internal platform engineering, using what you learn from deployments to help ensure a resilient, highly reusable, and exceptionally low-latency real-time voice infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Lead technical discovery sessions and design SIP/SIPREC and direct integration approaches for enterprise contact-centre environments. Act as the senior technical escalation point to diagnose and resolve complex SIP, RTP/media, SBC, TLS/SRTP, NAT/firewall, and interoperability issues. Represent the business credibly in technical design workshops and production readiness discussions directly with external enterprise client teams. Drive continuous improvements across the media path to reduce end-to-end latency, optimising transcoding, jitter buffering, and AI-agent response times. Convert one-off customer integrations into reusable platform capabilities, adapter patterns, and automated diagnostics. What You Need to Succeed (Core Requirements) Deep, practical knowledge of SIP signalling and troubleshooting (e.g. SDP negotiation, codec negotiation, packet loss, and jitter). Hands-on experience integrating, configuring, and operating Session Border Controllers (SBCs) such as AudioCodes, Ribbon, Oracle, or Cisco CUBE. Proven experience working with voice platforms such as Cisco, Avaya, Alvaria, Genesys, NICE, or Amazon Connect. Confidence reading and diagnosing network issues using packet captures and traces via tools like Wireshark, SIPp, Homer, or vendor trace tools. Full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship is available), the ability to pass a DBS check, and the ability to travel to UK / Ireland on occasion for work purposes without visa restrictions. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Nice to Haves (Training Provided) Previous exposure to AI, LLMs, STT/TTS, or voicebots. Our client highly values deep, real-time voice and telephony expertise over day-one AI knowledge; they will provide comprehensive training on their AI stack. Experience implementing SIPREC in live contact-centre environments. Scripting or automation experience (e.g., Python, Node.js, Bash, Terraform). Apply Now This is a rare opportunity to transition deep telecommunications expertise into one of the most innovative and rapidly expanding areas of Artificial Intelligence.
