This is a senior leadership position for a technically strong infrastructure professional who enjoys remaining close to the technology. Experience within a fast-paced, acquisitive or private equity-backed organisation would be advantageous, particularly where you have delivered infrastructure transformation, migration or platform consolidation. You will be pragmatic, commercially aware and confident balancing strategic direction with hands-on technical delivery. Qualifications & Certifications Relevant professional qualifications are desirable, including: Microsoft certifications covering Azure administration, Microsoft 365 and enterprise administration. Our Tax Assurance & Risk Management ('TA&RM') team is a fast-growing collaborative team of around 15 people nationally led by three dedicated tax partners, who together support a wide variety of private, private equity-backed and listed clients across sectors. Our work has helped many clients meet their legislative tax governance compliance obligations (including in relation to the Senior Accounting Officer and Corporate Criminal Offences regimes, the tax strategy publication requirement and HMRC's Business Risk Review process) and strategically improve their tax operations and tax control framework, manage tax risk and provide assurance to tax authorities and business stakeholders. Technology is an important part of helping our clients succeed and we encourage innovation at all levels in our team. We are an award-winning specialist tax team. We'll help you succeed Leading organisations trust us because of the quality of our advice. That quality grows from a thorough understanding of their business, and that understanding comes from working closely with them and building long-lasting relationships. You'll be both comfortable working pro-actively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with the team at all levels to help businesses effectively. You'll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with, acting as a key part of BDO's relationships with our clients. With a strong presentation style, and confidence in hosting workshops, training sessions and webinars, often to Board level, and with strong tax technical experience to be able to talk knowledgeably at a good level about a range of tax issues. With experience in end-to-end project delivery, who can lead projects with complexity to deliver quality advice. Who has a keen interest in helping clients develop tax governance and developing bespoke scopes of work to meet our clients' needs. With personal responsibility for own decisions and the actions of others. Educated to degree level, and/or CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent, or relevant experience.
