Job Description Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end design, build, testing, and deployment of complex Workday integration solutions Act as the primary technical integration lead for client implementations, both existing and new Define and own integration architecture, standards, and best practices across projects Manage and track integration risks, issues, and dependencies; proactively escalate where required Provide strategic guidance to clients and service partners on integration approaches and roadmaps Oversee and manage all integration deliverables associated with implementation projects Facilitate advanced troubleshooting and collaborate closely with cross-functional internal teams Lead, mentor, and coach junior and mid-level integration consultants across multiple projects Support the pre-sales cycle , including integration scoping, effort estimation, and solution design Produce detailed interface specifications , field mappings, and system/process designs Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies , including scenario testing and validation Manage partner integrations, including setup, analysis, validation, and ongoing data exchanges Coordinate cross-functional implementation activities, contributing to project planning, scope definition, and delivery governance Must have Skills Required 5+ years of Workday Integrations experience , including leading complex implementations 5+ years of combined experience designing and delivering enterprise technical solutions Strong experience with modern integration technologies, including: + EDI, Web Services, XML, XSLT + REST/SOAP APIs + Middleware platforms + Java and/or .NET Proven experience leading integration design and process alignment across stakeholders Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and deploy production-grade integrations Strong understanding of ERP systems , data models, and enterprise architecture concepts Experience working across multiple cross-functional teams, including business and technical stakeholders Highly developed analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Proficiency with tools such as Excel, Visio, MS Project (or equivalent), and PowerPoint Workday Integration Certification Other Qualifications/Skills that will be beneficial but not mandatory Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, HR, or related discipline Experience with Workday Extend Project or delivery certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile/Scrum ) Background in one or more of the following: + Java, JavaScript, .NET + XSLT + NetBeans or similar IDEsVirtualResource is a boutique IT consultancy specialising in HR & Digital Transformation.
