Key Responsibilities Design, build, upgrade, and support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments Provide advanced troubleshooting and performance tuning across high-availability platforms Maintain platform stability, resilience, and security Support BAU operations and infrastructure projects Integrate Citrix solutions with Active Directory and secure access technologies Identify opportunities for automation and infrastructure optimisation Produce and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures Contribute to knowledge transfer activities within the wider team Work within established service management and change control processes Participate in an on-call rota supporting critical services Skills & Experience Required Essential Extensive experience administering and supporting Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Strong experience designing, implementing, upgrading, and supporting Citrix environments Expertise in troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues Experience working within high-availability enterprise environments Strong understanding of Active Directory integration Experience optimising user experience within virtual desktop platforms Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills Proven ability to work effectively within secure, controlled environments Certifications The following Citrix certifications are highly desirable: Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA-V) Core administration of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Operational support and troubleshooting Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization (CCP-V) Advanced configuration and optimisation Complex troubleshooting in enterprise-scale environments Citrix Certified Expert - Virtualization (CCE-V) Architecture-level expertise Experience supporting complex, mission-critical platforms Security Requirements Due to the nature of this role, candidates must: Be a sole British citizen Not hold dual nationality Have resided in the UK for at least 2 of the last 5 years Hold, or be eligible to obtain, Developed Vetting (DV) Clearance
