Institutional Capital Director
Gomining
GoMining is looking for an Institutional Capital Director to build and grow relationships with institutional investors globally and attract strategic capital into the GoMining ecosystem. This is a front-office, relationship-driven role for someone who understands institutional finance, knows how capital allocation decisions are made, and has an established network across investment banks, asset managers, private equity, family offices, institutional investors, and alternative investment platforms. We are looking for someone who can open doors, build trust with sophisticated investors, structure compelling investment opportunities, and drive conversations from initial introduction through due diligence and capital commitment. The role sits at the intersection of institutional sales, capital markets, investor relations, and business development. Responsibilities Build and own GoMining's institutional capital pipeline across the US, Asia, and other key financial markets. Originate relationships with institutional investors, family offices, private equity and private credit funds, asset managers, hedge funds, wealth managers, and other professional capital allocators. Develop relationships with investment banks, financial institutions, placement agents, advisors, and other potential distribution partners. Identify investors whose mandates and risk profiles align with GoMining's investment opportunities. Lead the full capital-raising cycle - prospecting, introductions, investor meetings, presentations, due diligence, negotiations, and closing. Present GoMining's business model, Bitcoin mining infrastructure, economics, investment thesis, and financial opportunities to sophisticated investors. Build long-term relationships with CIOs, portfolio managers, investment directors, partners, family office principals, and other senior decision-makers. Work closely with GoMining's leadership, finance, legal, strategy, and product teams to structure institutional propositions and investment materials. Develop market-specific capital-raising strategies for the US and Asia. Represent GoMining at institutional investor meetings, conferences, private events, and industry forums. Maintain a structured institutional pipeline and provide clear visibility into potential capital, probability, timing, and next steps. Bring market intelligence back into the company - investor appetite, objections, required structures, expected returns, and emerging opportunities. What success looks like: This role is ultimately measured by capital. You will build a high-quality institutional pipeline, establish GoMining relationships with major capital allocators, and convert those relationships into meaningful capital commitments and long-term institutional partnerships. We are not looking for someone who only knows how to prepare decks, advise management, or participate in fundraising processes. We are looking for someone who knows the investors, can get into the room, build conviction, and close. 7+ years of experience in institutional finance, investment banking, capital markets, institutional sales, private markets, asset management, investor relations, or capital raising. Proven experience working directly with institutional investors and sophisticated capital allocators. Strong existing network across institutional investors, family offices, funds, asset managers, private banks, or other sources of capital. Track record of originating and closing significant investment or financing transactions. Ability to independently manage the entire relationship cycle - from opening the door to closing the transaction. Strong understanding of investment products, financial structures, risk/return profiles, and institutional due diligence. Executive-level communication and the ability to confidently present complex opportunities to senior investment professionals. Strong commercial mindset - this is not an advisory or strategy-only position. Ability to operate independently in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment. Fluent English. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Jefferies, BTIG, Citi, or comparable institutions. QED Legal
Corporate & Commercial Solicitor Varied Corporate Transactions & Business Advisory York
QED Legal York, Yorkshire
Corporate & Commercial Solicitor Varied Corporate Transactions & Business Advisory York 3+ years' PQE York / Yorkshire Salary DOE £55,000-£75,000 If you're a Corporate & Commercial Solicitor with 3+ years' PQE and enjoy getting close to the businesses you advise, this is an opportunity to join an established Yorkshire practice where the role can be shaped around your experience. This isn't a narrowly defined corporate role where you spend your days processing one type of transaction. The work is genuinely varied, covering corporate transactions, commercial contracts, business structures, partnerships and wider commercial advice. You'll work directly with business owners, directors and senior stakeholders, helping them navigate both the immediate legal issue and the wider commercial considerations behind it. On the corporate side, you can expect exposure to matters including: Share acquisitions and disposals Business sales and purchases Shareholder agreements Corporate reorganisations and restructures Partnership and LLP matters Management buy-ins and buy-outs Share-for-share exchanges Corporate governance and directors' responsibilities Corporate finance and funding The commercial work is equally broad, including commercial contracts, terms and conditions, agency and distribution arrangements, supplier and customer agreements, loan agreements and guarantees, IP matters and general day-to-day commercial advice. There is also an interesting professional and regulatory element within the wider practice, including advisory and contentious work for professional businesses and individuals facing regulatory or disciplinary issues. Your involvement in this area can be shaped around your existing experience and interests. The client base is a big part of the attraction. You'll act for a diverse range of owner-managed businesses, limited companies, partnerships, sole traders, professional practices and organisations, with matters ranging from ongoing commercial advice through to significant transactions, restructures and ownership changes. The approach is deliberately practical. The objective isn't simply to give a technically correct legal answer - it's to understand the client's business, explain the options clearly and provide advice that actually works commercially. That means this role would suit someone who enjoys client contact and problem-solving and wants to develop relationships rather than simply process work behind the scenes. You'll ideally bring: 3+ years' PQE in Corporate & Commercial work, or equivalent experience A strong technical grounding across corporate and/or commercial matters The ability to manage matters with a good degree of autonomy Confidence dealing directly with business owners and senior decision-makers Strong communication skills and the ability to make complex issues straightforward A practical, commercially minded approach An interest in developing your own breadth and expertise within an established team You don't necessarily need to be equally experienced across every area listed above. The role can be shaped around what you already do well and where you want to develop next. That makes this particularly interesting for a Corporate & Commercial Solicitor who has reached the point where they want more variety, more client exposure and greater scope to develop their practice, rather than simply moving into another role with the same narrow workflow. If you're a Corporate & Commercial Solicitor with 3+ years' PQE and are considering your next move in York or across Yorkshire, I'd be keen to have a confidential conversation about what you're looking for. For a confidential discussion and to learn more about the firm behind the opportunity, please contact Eoghan at QED Legal Recruitment Ltd.
