The Role As Junior Estimator, you will support the estimating team throughout the tendering process, including: Setting up estimating files upon receipt of new enquiries and maintaining relevant documentation. Experience carrying out take-offs and/or pricing residential construction projects would be beneficial. Experience with residential new-build projects would be advantageous. Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. Experience with estimating or take-off software would be beneficial but is not essential. Strong numerical and analytical ability with excellent attention to detail. Good organisation and time-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to build good working relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, clients and colleagues. A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively within a small team. Relevant estimating or construction qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
