We are looking for an Engineering Supervisor to lead day to day assembly and testing operations within an R&D and Prototype environment. This role combines team leadership, operational planning, process improvement, and cross functional collaboration, with a focus on delivering high quality work safely and efficiently. The position offers the opportunity to help shape processes, develop team capability, and contribute to continuous improvement across the function.

The role of a Engineering Supervisor will include:

• Coordinate and allocate assembly and test activities to ensure safe, timely, and high quality delivery
• Adapt schedules and priorities as workloads and project demands change
• Manage planning and resource allocation to maintain a clear and consistent workflow for technicians
• Develop and maintain clear working procedures and documentation, ensuring processes are followed and continuously improved
• Provide technical support and guidance to technicians, helping resolve issues and develop team capability
• Liaise with wider teams and stakeholders to communicate priorities, timelines, and dependencies effectively
• Maintain organised and efficient assembly and test areas in line with 5S principles

The ideal Engineering Supervisor should have the following skills and experience:

• Have experience supervising and mentoring teams
• Worked within a manufacturing environment
• Experienced working in an agile, fast-paced development setting
• Leading 5S / Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement
• UK driving license
