Your responsibilities will include managing the implementation of site safety management systems.
You will also oversee contracts with third-party providers to ensure that all site safety equipment is properly always maintained and fully operational.
The role is based on site at Grain LNG in Rochester so you will need to be able to drive with a full UK driving licence to travel to site for the role.
What you'll doAs Occupational Safety Lead, you'll take a leading role in delivering our front line safety programme, ensuring site activities comply with UK health and safety legislation and requirements (outside of COMAH) as set out in our site legal register. You'll provide clear, practical advice to colleagues across the terminal, helping people understand and apply safety requirements in real work situation
